How strange. He mused to himself, as he watched one of his butterfly golems, Tease, flutter through the air slightly ahead of him. Recently he had noticed a slight peculiarity about one of the purple beings – it almost seemed to have a mind of its own. While others usually stayed still and unmoving, awaiting their masters command, this one little Tease had the leisure to gently land on his shoulder, pinching his cheek, as if asking for his attention, as if asking to be acknowledged. Did he breed it the wrong way? He was certain the human this butterfly golem was bred from did not have anything particularly special about him – just a regular guy who happened to be in the wrong place, at the wrong time. And the other Tease seemed to be just fine as well. So what was up with this one? The Noah did not know. He had considered asking about it the Earl, as they were his creation in the first place, but he was nowhere to be found, and he doubted that Road could be of any help to him.
Absently Tyki noted that he was entering a park – from the looks of it vacant, if you don’t count the variety of stray cats and other animals roaming it. Huh, what did that Tease lose in here? None the less he followed, entering the forest-like area in which the only source of light were the seldom scattered decorative lanterns. He had to admit that he rather liked it here – the surroundings reminded him of his home world, somewhat.
The Tease then suddenly changed direction, which immediately pulled him out from the brief moment of nostalgia. Heh, he should really spend less time alone. This wasn’t like him at all. Shifting his line of sight to where the golem was dancing away to, he noticed a man, possibly around his age, sitting on a bench not far from where he walked. Tyki couldn’t help but notice the thin line of smoke that arose from the cigarette the man had embraced between his lips, which made his own smoking urges surface and on habit direct his hand towards the inner pockets of his fancy jacket. Equipping a cigarette of his own he immediately noticed his lack of matches or any other flammables. Damn, this is happening way too often lately. Looking up to see that the golem he had previously followed had already made his way toward the object of his interest, the man, settling himself atop of his sand-colored hair, he figured he might as well walk over and ask for a light.
"Yo, strangely effeminate stranger. Might you have a light with you?" It was fairly obvious, considering that the man opposite of him was smoking. "I seem to have lost mine, you see." Tyki braced himself with an amiable smile, which looked far more convincing especially since his appearance was no more and no less of a young, male human noble – his stigmatas, gray skin and darker nature perfectly hidden.
